In Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the deepest north-east of Italy, on the border with the German and the Slavic world, the musical culture is a deeply rooted value. There are dozens of widely spread associations in the area, that - at various levels- carry out their own projects. In this various context, stands out the wind bands world: Anbima FVG represents the head and the keystone of this movement, joining dozens of different realities spread throughout the region. In this context, in 2006, it was born one of the largest Italian educational projects aimed at young musicians - aged between 9 and 19 years - who study music in the wind bands of Friuli Venezia Giulia: it is called ”Campus Musica Insieme.”
In 2016 the project has celebrated 10 years of activity: Anbima FVG decided to communicate this event through a different language from the one that is usually its own. It commissioned a book, which is an attempt to map the narrative of the project so far. The publication tries to translate the music into images, giving space to the identity of such a complex and enduring work, through a narrative that would allow any interested reader to reconstruct its own thread of the story. The result is a combination of images and data - rather than long texts -, which allows everyone to easily perceive the atmosphere of the experience.
